During our research into existing trailers we found that some used these overlaying titles throughout the trailer to give additional information to the images as to what the film is about. We thought that these were effective but chose not to give away too much of the plotline but more explain the setting. This particular text clearly states the location of the upcoming scene to be a school, it also adds mystery as the audience wants to know what or who is inside the school. We chose to have a black background with white text as it is simple and draws the attention solely to the text and nothing else. This technique was seen during research and we believed that it worked effectively and fulfilled its purpose. We decided to fade the shots here in and out of each other to make the transactions smooth yet still create an eeiry effect and build up to the climax.
Sound: Here we will introduce a voice over to again add tension. The voice is of one of the characters in the trailer however the audience doesnt know gaining the audiences attention almost instantly.
